Tools built for real people managing real money

I built TransparentBudget because I live this stuff every day: a salary, bonuses that do not line up neatly with monthly bills, and more than one loan competing for attention. I kept hitting the same wall—most tools either wanted an account, buried the math behind upsells, or felt like they were quietly packaging my data. I wanted something simple, honest, and private.

Here is what makes TransparentBudget different: it is 100% free, 100% private, with no accounts and no collection of your calculator inputs on our servers. Your numbers stay in your browser (localStorage), the calculators work offline once the page is loaded, and the goal is to keep the experience fast and readable instead of noisy.

What is next? More calculators, more practical tools, and the same promise: always free, always centered on your privacy. If an idea would make your money life easier without selling your trust, it belongs on the roadmap.

About the Author

TransparentBudget is built and maintained by Eduardo Perez, a software engineer who uses these same calculators for real household decisions—salary, variable bonuses, and multiple loans—without handing financial data to another company’s servers.
